Top 5 Reasons To Move To Hillsborough California

Hillsborough is a residential community that is located in San Mateo County, known for its beautiful and luxurious homes. If you are looking for a small-town feel, close to the city, with a lavish feel, then Hillsborough might be where you want to call home.

Why You’ll Love it here

You couldn’t dream of a better suburb to live in. While largely residential, the landscape is dominated by enormous, elegant homes and picture-perfect aesthetics. It doesn’t stop there. Residences also lay ground to beautiful, enormous front yards with pristine fences lining the gorgeous, manicured properties.

Hillsborough Community Feel

Hillsborough has continually worked to preserve the ‘nature of Hillsborough’. One of the main attractions Hillsborough has for home buyers is its charm. Hillsborough still offers its escape from the pressures of the city. In addition to its generally quiet atmosphere, Hillsborough has excellent, award-winning public schools, police and fire protection and public works service. These are the qualities that have formed the character of the Town and have remained stable for over 100 years.

Part of Hillsborough’s charm is that it has a relaxed country setting, with polished living quarters and an upper (upper) class feel. Should you drive along Clark Drive, there’s not only enormous palm trees lining the streets, but enormous palm trees lining the road dividers, which is absolutely beautiful, and really adds to the feel and charm of the town. There is also no sign of apartment buildings, condominiums or even a townhouse within the city’s limits – which is something that can be hard to find.

If privacy and seclusion are not things you really want, the beautiful homes at Hillsborough might not be for you.
